Former Union Finance Minister and former senior BJP leader Yashwant Sinha on Saturday joined Trinamool Congress just weeks ahead of the West Bengal Assembly elections. Sinha had quit the BJP in 2018.
The Election Commission had announced the poll dates on February 26. The Assembly elections in these states will take place from March 27 to April 29- with the results to be declared on May 2.
