The Central government on Thursday assured the Supreme Court that it would not act on certain provisions of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025, including the inclusion of non-Muslims in the Central Waqf Council & Waqf Boards, and de-notifying properties declared as waqf by courts, till the next date of hearing.
