Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned hearing of Kerala government plea seeking directions to withdraw 2015 Assembly violence cases against CPM leaders including Kerala Education Minister V. Sivankutty.
The Delhi High Court vacation bench stayed 25th May, 16th June orders & summons dated 17th June 2021 issued by the learned NCSC against Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare and the Medical Superintendent and Director, RML Hospital to appear personally before the Chairman of the learned NCSC.
The Supreme Court bench headed by Justices AM Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari & Aniruddha Bose dismissed the plea against the Delhi HC order which had dismissed the plea seeking to halt the construction of “Central Vista Redevelopment Project” and had imposed a cost of One lakh on petitioners.
In its judgment in a suo motu matter titled “In Re: Problems and Miseries of Migrant Labourers”, the Suoreme Court has directed the Centre, States to complete the process of the portal for a national database for migrants and implement one nation one ration card scheme by 31 July.
Mr. Diwan argued before the Supreme Court that Karnataka High Court says that because there are directions issued by the state election commission that operates as having the force of law which according to us is inadequate and that really a question of law.
The Supreme Court will pronounce its judgment on Tuesday in a suo motu matter titled “In Re: Problems and Miseries of Migrant Labourers” dealing with the problems and miseries of migrant labourers who had been stranded in the different parts of the Country amid the COVID19 pandemic. The Court had reserved its verdict on June 11, 2021.
A vacation bench of the Delhi High Court comprising Justice Anup Jairam Bhambhani has issued direction to the Delhi Police wherein the petitioner and his employees have been repeatedly targeted by unknown assailants in and around their place of work in Chandni Chowk.
The Vacation Bench of Delhi High Court remarked that the petitioners working in Delhi Cantonment Board aided school has not been paid their salary/pension since September 2020.
The Supreme Court rejected plea seeking transfer Health from the state list to the Central list. Sujata Kohli who is a former Judge in Principal District and Session courts, New Delhi made submission for the petition by Amrendra Mehta for setting up a national health commission in the entire country.
