The petition has been filed by employees of Standard Chartered Bank who left the said bank in 2020 and 2014 respectively alleging that the Special Court under PMLA cannot try offences triable by Courts designated under the Code of Criminal Procedure.

The court directed the Central Govt to supply oxygen by whatever means. Justice Sanghi said: “Do you want us to let people die in Delhi? Do u want us to shut our eyes?”
The respondent's counsel Ritwik Parashar submitted that he was informed by the Sub Divisional Magistrate, Adhartal, Jabalpur that the girl has been kept in Nari Niketan on the insistence of her parents though she wanted to go with the petitioner.
