A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the order of the Allahabad High Court dismissing a Public Interest Litigation seeking Postponement of Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Election 2021 scheduled from 15th April, 2021
The Court has issued issued the following orders to the State authorities to be enforced in the cities of Prayagraj, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur Nagar and Gorakhpur:
Earlier, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to Central Government and Delhi Police Commissioner to ensure that the road between Noida to Delhi is kept clear so that the passage is not affected.
