The Delhi High Court has directed 3499 under trial prisoners, who were granted interim bail under various criteria amidst the outbreak of Covid-19, to surrender upon the expiry of that period.
The Supreme Court on Friday passed the directions to restore the possession of a “booth” to the original allottee after 25 years of litigation. The Court has directed the Estate Officer, Chandigarh Administration shall ensure that the appellant is immediately put in possession of the premises of booth.
