A Delhi Court on Thursday summoned Director of a Private School in Dwarka for wilful neglect which resulted in sexual assault of a four-and-a-half-year old girl in 2017 by her classmate.
A single bench of Justice Arindam Mukherjee opined that the disputes over the premises, whether it be ownership, title or interest, cannot stand in the way of the petitioner getting a new electricity meter in her name, when the possession of the premises by her is admitted.
The Court observed, "They seem to be articulate and they both have apprised the Court that they have a threat perception at the hands of the private respondent no.3 and 4 (her brothers)."
The court has also asked the investigating officer of the case to be present in the next hearing on December 27 and produce the entire video footage of the search.
The petitioner alleges that even after the Court order, the collector issued the order on the last date due to political pressure and declared his election void.

"Rape is not merely a physical assault but it is the destruction of the personality of the victim. Therefore, Courts have to act responsibly and with sensitivity while dealing with the cases of rape, particularly, while referring to the prosecutrix, " the Court observed.
The Delhi High Court took note of the large-scale illegal and unauthorised constructions near Qutub Minar, a protected heritage monument in Mehrauli, and directed the South Delhi Municipal Corporation's Zonal Deputy Commissioner to fix responsibility of officers involved in it.
The Petition said that this has been confirmed by the Municipal Corporation. Sealing orders were also issued by the authority in the year 2015 , but in spite of this the illegal construction went on unabated.
