Around 27 law students from across the country, fearing the critical situation arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic, wrote a letter to Chief Justice of India Justice N.V. Ramana, requesting him to issue uniform guidelines for certain matters related to the current situation.
The e-Committee is the governing body overseeing the e-Courts Project conceptualized under the “National Policy and Action Plan for Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Indian Judiciary-2005.”
Justice Virendra Kumar Srivastava, a sitting judge of the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, has passed away due to Covid-19. He had been admitted to PGI Lucknow for an ailment, where he succumbed today.
