Directing the Centre to file counter reply on suggestions made by the petitioner to ban child pornography, the Supreme Court gave three weeks’ time.
An Indore-based advocate, Kamlesh Vaswani had filed a PIL in the Apex Court in 2014, deploring about the free availability of child pornography, and seeking measures to curb the same.
The petitioner suggested that the central government should frame guidelines for internet service provider regarding pornography, and child pornography in particular.
