New Delhi (ILNS): As coal blocks start being auctioned in Jharkhand, the Supreme Court has ordered that all these and any subsequent order of license, lease, etc shall be provisional for now, subject to final orders of the court. The court has also asked the Centre to inform all bidders about it.

Today the top court passed an interim order in the e-auction of 41 coal blocks, including 9 in Jharkhand for commercial mining.

After the court order, the Centre assured the court that no mining and trees will be cut in the meantime.
