New Delhi (ILNS): The Mumbai police today again asked actor Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel to appear before them on November 23 and 24, over their “objectionable comments” on social media, allegedly intended at spreading communal tension.
This is the third time that Mumbai police asked the actor to appear before the Bandra police on the issue.
In October the Bandra Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court had directed the police to investigate a complaint filed by Bollywood casting director and fitness trainer Munawwar Ali Sayyed, referring to tweets and other statements of the two sisters.
Thereafter, the Bandra police had registered an FIR against Kangana Ranaut and her sister under various sections of the law.
