New Delhi (ILNS): The Delhi High Court has directed the Jamia Milia Islamia University to issue degree and other documents to a law graduate within three days.
A bench of Justice Jayant Nath was hearing a plea filed by Mohd Munis Siddique, a law graduate through Advocate Harpreet Singh Hora and Himangi Kapoor with the grievance that the University had not issued his mark sheet, degree and other documents due to which he was not being able to pursue higher studies. The petitioner has been making efforts for the same since July, 2020.
The plea stated that the law graduate couldn’t get enrolled with the Bar Council due to the non availability of necessary documents.
On the final day of arguments, the bench was informed that the University had only given mark sheet, which was of no use to the petitioner to get enrolled with the Bar Council.
