The Supreme Court today announced the fresh schedule for the Advocates-on-Record examination which is scheduled to be held from December 20 to 23, 2021.
The notification states that candidates must take both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and inform the same latest by November 17.
“In partial modification of Notification ENO, AOR Exam June/2021 dated March 26, 2021, and in continuation to subsequent Notice dated May 12, 2021, issued by the Registry of the Supreme Court of India, in the exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 5 (i) and (ii) of Order IV, Supreme Court Rules, 2013 and Regulation 2 of the Regulations regarding Advocates-on-Record Examination made thereunder governing the Examination for Advocates-on-Record, it is hereby notified for information of all concerned that the Advocates-on-Record Examination, 2021, which was earlier scheduled to be held on 8, 9, 10″ and 11 June 2021, has been rescheduled for 20, 21,” 22″ and 23″ December 2021,” the notification reads.

In order to ensure the safety and well-being of the candidates and the examination functionaries, the Competent Authority is of the view that it will be appropriate that the candidates desirous to appear in the Advocates-on-Record Examination should have taken both doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
The notification said that in case, no intimation is received by the Registry, it shall be presumed that he/she has not been vaccinated and his/her seating arrangement in the examination hall will be arranged accordingly.
