Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who has been under the Enforcement Directorate scanner over her alleged ties with conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, has sought permission from a local court in Delhi to permit her to visit Abu Dhabi, France and Nepal. The actor has a look-out circular ordered against her.
Jacqueline Fernandez wanted a fortnight’s permission in which she wishes to attend the IIFA awards in Abu Dhabi along with other things. The court may conduct a hearing on her plea today.
The Enforcement Directorate attached the assets of the actor which were worth Rs 7.27 crore, including Rs 7.12 crore of fixed deposits last week.
As per reports, conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar had presented Jacqueline gifts worth Rs 5.71 crore using his criminal proceeds. It is also reported that the hustler had also given money and gifts to her family members as well
Sukesh Chandrashekhar was detained by the Enforcement Directorate for extorting a whopping amount of Rs 215 crore from a Delhi businessman’s wife, by impersonating as a Central government officer. He is also charged in a five-year-old cheating case involving Tamil Nadu MLA TTV Dhinakaran.
