The Supreme Court collegium has recommended the transfer of Justice Satish Chandra Sharma of the Telangana High Court to the Delhi High Court.
The Collegium also recommended the elevation of five judges as Chief Justices of High Courts.
Justice Vipin Sanghi (Acting Chief Justice, Delhi High Court) has been recommended to be made the Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court.
Justice Amjad A Sayed (currently of the Bombay High Court) to be Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
Justice S.S. Shinde (Bombay High Court) to be Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
Justice Rashmin M. Chhaya (Gujarat High Court) to be made the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
Justice Ujjal Bhuyan (currently Telangana High Court) to be Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
The decision was taken by the Collegium which was headed by Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana.
