In furtherance of the responsibility towards the environment, the Hidayatullah National Law University in collaboration with the Global Network for Human Rights and the Environment is organizing an International Conference on Rights of Nature for Sustainable Development on June 5, 2022. The Conference will bring together specialists from varied backgrounds for a cross-disciplinary discussion on the Rights of Nature.
The Conference will work on two components, namely, a Panel Discussion of an hour’s duration among Scholars from abroad & India, and a Paper Presentation of the Selected Paper of two hour’s duration. It is proposed that the selected papers will be published.
The broad themes that will receive attention are: Rights of Nature v. Rights to Nature, Rights of Nature v. Sustainable Business, Rights of Nature and Role of the Stakeholders for Sustainable Development, Rights of Nature and Role of Institutional Mechanism, Rights of Nature and Human Rights, Rights of Nature and Green Economy, Rights of Nature and Global Biodiversity, Rights of Nature and Greening Finance, Rights of Nature and International Trade.
