The Punjab Police has been accused of meting out an inhumane treatment and giving “third degree torture” to the accused Lawrence Bishnoi in the jail where he has been jailed for the murder of singer Sidhu Mooselwala.
The legal counsel of Lawrence Bishnoi has on Friday accused the Punjab Police of doing atrocities and treating his client on inhumane manner.
A video has been released in this regard by the lawyer of Bishnoi named Vishal Chopra who said that” Punjab Police has violated the rules while interrogating the accused who is Lawrence Bishnoi in this case.
In a video the lawyer is alleging that his clients life is in danger.He further mentions that no videography was done while Bishnoi was being interrogated.
The lawyer has also alleged of not been permitted to meet Lawrence Bishnoi.
Advocate Chopra ahas stated that he would soon be filing a writ petition before a competent court for bringing out these adversaries in the police’s dealing with the accused.
Lawrence Bishnoi has been named as the accused and main conspirator in the singer’s killing.The accused has been brought to Punjab under high security from Delhi..
The accused after being brought was preoduced before the court in Mansa district and has been given Bishnoi on a seven-day police remand.
