Allahabad High Court directs SP Traffic Prayagraj to come with appropriate plan to manage the traffic around the High Court

The Allahabad High Court directed the SP Traffic Prayagraj to appear on September 23 along with the appropriate plan to manage the traffic and parking around the High Court for free ingress and outgress.

A Single Bench of Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamshery passed this order while hearing an Application under section 482 filed by Tayyaba Begum.

Saher Naqvi, a young lawyer has faced wrath of haphazardly parked number of vehicles around the High Court and she has to park her car about 1 km from the gate of High Court and she has to run to reach this Court before 4 P.M so that her case may not be dismissed for want of prosecution, the Court said.

When the Applicant reached the court, She narrated that few police personnel were present on the road who were unable to manage the jam and parking of vehicles.

Advocates present in Court as well as Amrendra Nath Singh, Senior Counsel also echo her plight and requests that the Court may pass appropriate direction in this regard.

The Court directed the S.P Traffic Prayagraj to appear before the Court on the next date fixed with appropriate plan to manage the traffic and parking around the High Court for free ingress and outgress.

“Additional Government Advocate present in Court is directed to communicate this order to the officer concerned.

Amrendra Nath Singh, Senior Counsel is requested to remain present on the next date fixed to assist the court.

Meanwhile, Saher Naqvi, shall take instructions about service to opposite party no 2 in the case filed by applicant under Section 125 CrPC”, the Court ordered.

The Court has fixed the next date of hearing on November 23, 2022.
