Rajasthan High Court directs petitioner to deposit cheque of Rs. 50,000 with the Registry as cost towards litigation

The Rajasthan High Court while issuing the notice, directed the petitioner to deposit a demand draft/cheque of Rs. 50,000 with the Registry.

The Jaipur Division Bench of Justice Pankaj Bhandari and Justice Sameer Jain  heard a habeas corpus petition filed by the Grandparents for release of their Grandson who is aged 5 years and 9 months.

Their  primary contention is that the corpus in question is being continuously pushed towards malnutrition by her mother on account of her limited meals.

Considering the facts of the case, the Court deemed  it proper to direct the petitioner to deposit a demand draft/cheque of Rs.50,000/- drawn in favour of Registrar (General) Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench, Jaipur with the Registrar (Judicial) as cost towards litigation in the name of respondent No.5-Mother.

The Bench has listed the matter on 21.11.2022 for further hearing.
