Another Indian jawan has complained of poor quality food. However, unlike BSF jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav, who in January put out a video on Facebook, trying to depict the food that he got at posting was of poor quality, this jawan has gone to court, even alleging that he fears for his life.

The jawan, whose name has been withheld, petitioned the Delhi High Court through his counsel and was mentioned before the bench of Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Anu Malhotra.

The bench has listed it before Justice Vinod Goel, who will take it up on July 10.

The jawan is posted in Assam. He has said in his complaint that when he complained of poor quality food, his seniors started harassing him. No other details were available.

Yadav’s complaint on Facebook was investigated by the authorities and a lot of dust rose. The BSF finally denied all allegations and the jawan was sent to another posting, with his wife finally able to meet him at the insistence of the court.
