The Supreme Court registry has initiated a training process for the lawyers before introduction of the new e-filing system in court.

As per the letter issued by the training cell of the Supreme Court, the registry will undertake an awareness program to acquaint the Advocates with the new module of the e-filing system which is ready for launch.

This training is scheduled to be conducted in batches of 60-80 Advocates/AORs and will be held in sessions.

The letter circulated to all SC lawyers requested for the awareness program to achieve the goal of inculcating the level of skill required to use the e-filing module.

In his speech before the members of the legal profession from different countries, the CJI pointed out that live streaming and transcription of court proceedings would be beneficial for legal studies and research.

The CJI said that this was a limitless source for people to understand legal strategy, to learn legal strategy, to show how the constitutional court functions.

The CJI added that the output of a judge is only the tip of the iceberg for what emerges from a constitutional court proceeding.

The CJI said that with the increase of e-courts, the access to justice and speed of justice delivery.

In the ABA conference the CJI said that courts are moving towards a completely paperless work. He added that virtual courts have been set up for traffic offences, petty cases where fines have to be paid.

The CJ added that the work that was done by a dozen judges is now done by a single judge on a server. Someone who wants to pay the fine doesn’t need to waste the entire day coming to court and sitting there. You can log in and pay the fine..
