Punjab plans to open 75 more Aam Aadmi Clinics to provide quality health services

The Punjab government has taken steps to improve healthcare by opening 75 additional aam aadmi clinics (AACs) in just 10 days, according to reports. Currently, the state already has 583 AACs in operation.

On Tuesday, Anurag Verma, the Chief Secretary to the Government of Punjab, conducted a meeting with all DCs to evaluate the progress made. Verma instructed DCs to visit 10% of the AACs in their districts every month, and SDMs to visit all clinics in their sub-divisions.

He also emphasized that they should obtain feedback from patients regarding the availability of medicines and diagnostic services. Additionally, they should inquire from patients who have undergone treatment whether they are satisfied with the services provided.

The officials were instructed to submit a report to the Chief Secretary and the Health Department regarding these evaluations.

In January of this year, Arvind Kejriwal, the chief of AAP and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, launched an additional 400 Aam Aadmi clinics in the state. They dubbed the event the fulfillment of another Kejriwal ki guarantee bringing the total number of clinics to 500.

Kejriwal, who is also the Delhi Chief Minister, expressed his satisfaction with the Punjab government’s quick opening of 500 mohalla clinics within 10 months. Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh and AAP MP Raghav Chadha also attended the event.

The Delhi Chief Minister, Kejriwal, assured the people of Punjab that his party would fulfill all their promises and urged them to be patient. He criticized the previous governments for damaging the system.

Kejriwal highlighted that the AAP had already fulfilled its pledge of providing 300 units of free electricity per month. The Mann government has been actively taking measures against corruption and is determined to take strict action against those involved in such practices.

Kejriwal applauded the Mann regime and highlighted that they had created 26,000 government jobs in the last 10 months.
