NGT raps Delhi government for failing to file action plan

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Monday (December 4) came down heavily on the Delhi government for failing to file action plan in the matter related to the recent pollution in Delhi-NCR region.

The NGT bench headed by Justice Swatanter Kumar and comprising of Justices Jawed Rahim, Raghuvendra S Rathore and Bikram Singh Sajwan told the counsel representing Delhi government to file the action plan before next date of hearing.

The bench adjourned the matter for December 6, 2017.

During the course of proceedings, the bench was also informed that the action plan has been filed by only three states UP, Haryana and Rajasthan.
