CJI meets the four rebel judges

The Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra on Tuesday (January 16) morning met the four judges who held the press conference on January 12 questioning the CJI’s administrative actions.

The meeting went on for over 15 minutes. It has been reliably learnt that the CJI assured the four judges that all issues will be attended to. The CJI will again convene a meeting tomorrow.

Work at the Supreme Court was normal on Monday (January 15) with all judges, including the four who had rebelled against Chief Justice Dipak Misra through a press conference on January 12 – Justices J Chelameswar, Ranjan Gogoi, Madan B Lokur and Kurian Joseph – attending to their routine work.
