Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday (January 22) submitted the status report to the Patiala House Court as directed earlier by the court in a disproportionate assets case involving Himachal Pradesh former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

The bench of special judge Santosh Snehi Mann told the ED to file supplimentary chargesheet and listed the matter to February 1.

The bench had earlier granted bail to LIC agent Anand Chauhan in the same case. It is alleged that Chauhan was instrumental in investing Rs 5 crore in LIC policies in the name of Singh, including his wife and children.
