RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav who has been jailed in various cases related to fodder scam was granted six weeks provisional bail for medical treatment by the Jharkhand High Court on Friday (May 11).
Lalu’s counsel had asked for three months provisional bail. He informed the court that his client wanted to get treated in Mumbai.
Lalu is already out on three days parole to attend the marriage of his eldest son Tej Pratap on May 12 in Patna.
Lalu was undergoing treatment at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) after he was brought from AIIMS (New Delhi) on May 1.
