Delhi Master Plan 2021: Supreme Court refuses to amend its order

The apex court has asked the Centre to ask for objections from the public

An application from the Union government had said that the DDA has already taken objections from people regarding Master Plan 2021 for Delhi. It had also appealed that under these circumstances the Supreme Court should amend the order in which objections are sought within 15 days.

The Supreme Court, however, has refused to amend its order on the Master Plan 2021. The court said the Centre will have to demand objections from the public for the amendment in the master plan.

On May 15, the Supreme Court had amended the order of the ban on notification and the court has allowed the Central government to move forward for the amendment to the Master Plan for the moment.
