Delhi HC orders JNU not to take any coercive steps against Kanhaiya Kumar till next hearing

The Delhi High Court bench of Justice S P Garg on Friday (May 25) deferred the hearing of the CBI’s plea challenging the special court’s acquittals of Ruia brother and the proprietors of the Loop telecom and Loop Mobiles in connection with the 2G spectrum allocation scam.

On the last date of hearing April 20 – the court had issues notices to the Ruia brothers and all Essar Group promoters to seek their response on the CBI’s challenge.

The next hearing in the matter is on August 2.

The Delhi High Court aslo sought response and rejoinders from former telecom minister A Raja, DMK MP Kanimozhi and others on the plea.
