The Delhi High Court on Friday (July 6) said that the interim stay on the strike by the DMRC employees will continue while directing the employees to file replies.

The single-judge bench of Justice Vipin Sanghi posted the matter for next hearing to September 4.

In the previous hearing, the court had restrained the employees from going on strike until the next order. It had also issued notices to the Staff Council of DMRC and others to file replies.

The court had stayed the strike by agreeing to DMRC’s contentions that it provides service to common public as 25 lakh people travel everyday and most of them belong to middle income groups. It had also taken note that because of the strike the common public will face lot of problems.
