In a sensational revelation to the Muzzaffarpur shelter home case, the CBI in an affidavit said that it is investigating alleged murder of 11 girls by prime accused Brajesh Thakur and others and has unearthed human bones from a burial ground at the instance of co-accused.
The premier investigating agency also claimed in the affidavit that it has also chargesheeted those who used to visit the shelter home and will file supplementary chargesheet.
The Supreme Court directed petitioner and others accused to file their responses on the CBI affidavit and kept the matter for next hearing to May 6.
The Muzzaffarpur shelter home sex scandal came into light when the Bihar Social Welfare Department filed an FIR relying on the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) social audit, which concluded that several inmates of the Muzaffarpur shelter home were allegedly sexually abused and assaulted.
