SC registry issues circular for entry of Advocates from existing premises to Additional Building Complex

The Supreme Court registry has issued a circular regarding entry of Advocates from the existing premises to the Additional Building Complex for the official work in the Judicial Sections.

The registry in a notification dated Sep 6, 2019 said ”following steps are proposed to be taken for facilitating the visit of the concerned Advocates or their registered clerks to the various Judicial Sections in ‘B’ Block of the Additional Building Complex shortly, subject to all the systems being in place”:

  1. The entry of Advocates for the time being will be allowed from Advocates/Litigants Tunnel and the Advocates may be permitted to access ‘B’ Block through Lift Nos.11 & 12 at Basement 2.
  2. The Access will only be allowed to ‘B’ Block where Judicial Sections exist.
  3. The Access to Advocates/Litigants Tunnel will be allowed only during office hours of the Registry i.e., from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days and from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM on working Saturdays.
  4. Register for recording the details of Advocates or their registered clerks accessing the Advocates/Litigants Tunnel will he placed at the entry of the tunnel near Parking area East Side (Main Campus). The security personnel deployed at the gate shall enter the details of the visitors in the said register.
