The High Court of Kerala is going to set yet another record of becoming the first High Court to live stream the farewell ceremony of a retiring Judge, after becoming the first High Court in the Country to conduct hearings through video conferencing.
The Court has notified that it will live stream farewell function of Justice CK Abdul Rehim, the senior most Judge after the Chief Justice, tomorrow through Youtube.
The farewell ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11 AM tomorrow in Chief Justice S Manikumar’s Chamber where other Judges will join him through Video conference.
The other participants for the reference will be the wife of the Justice Rahim, the Registrar General, the Advocate General, the President of the Kerala High Court Advocates association and the President of Kerala Federation of Women Lawyers.

Justice Rahim was born on 02-05-1958 and is the son of former Deputy Sales Tax Commissioner late PK Ali Pilla and late Kunji Beepathu.
He obtained his Law degree from the Government Law College, Ernakulam and got enrolled in 1983.
Justice Rehim began his practice at Ernakulam in Civil and Criminal cases in High Court and Subordinate Courts, including all types of appeals and writ petitions
Thereafter he worked as Government Pleader during 1991-1996 and as Senior Governmnet Pleader during 2001-2006.
He was Sworn-in as Additional Judge of High Court of Kerala in 2009 and appointed as Permanent Judge of the High Court of Kerala with effect from 15-12-2010.
Thereafter he was appointed as Acting Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court with effect from 23-09-2019.
