5 lawyers and 2 judicial officers sworn-in as judges of Madhya Pradesh High Court

Five lawyers and two judicial officers were sworn-in as judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on Wednesday.

Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva administered the oath of office and secrecy to Advocates Pushpendra Yadav, Anand Singh Bahrawat, Ajay Kumar Nirankari, Jai Kumar Pillai and Himanshu Joshi, along with judicial officers Ramkumar Choubey and Rajesh Kumar Gupta. 

Besides, the Chief Justice administered the oath of office and secrecy to three judicial officers, who were were sworn-in as additional judges of the High Court.

These included judicial officers Alok Awasthi, Ratnesh Chandra Singh Bisen and Bhagwati Prasad Sharma. 

The Central government had notified the appointment of 11 judges and additional judges to the Madhya Pradesh High Court on July 28.

All appointees except judicial officer Pradeep Mittal (appointed as additional judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court) were sworn-in today.
