The Allahabad High Court has sought information from the State Government and the recruitment board on a petition filed for not sending selected candidates for training in the 2018 police recruitment.
This order has been given by Justice Ajit Kumar while hearing a petition filed by one Dharmaraj.
The petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus commanding respondents to complete the formalities to send the petitioner for training as per selection made pursuant to recruitment conducted in police constable qua advertisement no. 1 (138) 2018 dated November 16, 2018.
Advocate for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had qualified the physical standard test conducted by the respondents for the purpose of selection and, thereafter, the medical test was conducted as per Clause 4.4. of the advertisement and they apprehended that perhaps the board has reviewed the petitioner’s physical test and that is why he is not being sent for training.
