The Allahabad High Court on Wednesday asked the Police Recruitment Board and the State Government to direct the petitioner to take physical efficiency test in Police Recruitment 2018 due to special circumstances, as she was pregnant at the time the physical test was being done.
The High Court has sought information from the government in the case on February 15.
This order has been given by Justice Rajiv Joshi on the Petition of Manjusha Kumari of Bulandshahr.

The petition was argued by Advocate Mujib Ahmad Siddiqui. They argued that petitioner Manjusha Kumari succeeded in the police recruitment examination. The physical test was called for on February 3, 2019. She pleaded that she is pregnant, so her physical fitness test should be taken on some date after delivery.
However, she is not being called for physical efficiency test after delivery, on which this petition has been filed.

During the hearing, the bench asked the state government as to why the physical efficiency test was not directed after delivery. State government has been asked to file a reply in this regard on February 15.
