The appointment of judicial officer Dharmesh Sharma as an additional judge of the Delhi High Court has been cleared by the Central government.
The Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju via his Twitter account made the announcement of the same.
The Supreme Court collegium on April 13 has recommended the name of Sharma for the elevation.
As on April 1, the Delhi High Court which has a sanctioned strength 60 judges is functioning with 45 judges, a vacancy position of 15.
