Appointment of Taj Ali Moulasab Nadaf as Karnataka High Court judge cleared by Central government

The appointment of Advocate Taj Ali Moulasab Nadaf as a judge of the Karnataka High Court has been cleared by the Central Government on February12.

The notification in this regard read stated that while exercising of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Taj Ali Moulasab Nadaf to be an Additional Judge of the Karnataka High Court, for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the name of three lawyer including Advocate Taj Ali Moulasab Nadaf way backin 2023.

The Karnataka High Court is functioning with the capacity of 49 judges as against its sanctioned strength of 62, a vacancy position of 13.
