The Allahabad High Court has sought information from the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority in the recruitment of 69,000 Assistant Teachers.
A Single Bench of Justice Rohit Ranjan Agarwal passed this order, while hearing a Contempt Application filed by Upendra Kumar Dayal.
It was contended that in the bunch of Special Appeals in the leading case, the Division Bench on August 25, 2021 had granted benefit of one mark to all those candidates, who had appeared in the Recruitment Examination of Assistant Teacher.
The said benefit was extended only to those candidates, who had either preferred the special appeal or had filed the writ petition.
According to the Counsel for the applicant, the benefit granted by the Division Bench, has not been extended to the applicant.
“Let a copy of the contempt application be served upon P.K Giri, Additional Chief Standing Counsel within three days.
“P.K. Giri, Additional Chief Standing Counsel shall seek instructions in the matter from the opposite party as to why the benefit given to such candidates was not extended pursuant to the decision of the Division Bench dated August 25, 2021, till date”
