The Bombay High Court has designated 13 lawyers, including two women, as Senior Advocates.
As per the High Court, the designations were made in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 16 (2) of the Advocates Act, 1961, and in accordance with the Rules framed by the High Court.
The lawyers who have been conferred Senior designation include Rajiolochan Bhalchandra Puranik, Prakash D. Shah, Vijay Dinkarrao Patil, Sunip Kumar Sen, Satish Laxmanrao Maneshinde, Nandkumar Bhagwanrao Khandare, Dinesh Sharad Purandare, Sudesh Manohar Usgaonkar, Sanjeev Prataprao Kadam, Pranav Pradyumna Badheka and Kirtidev Girish Munshi.
The women lawyers conferred the senior gown include Deepa Prashant Chawan and Manjari Dhanesh Shah.
In August 2024, the High Court had designated 28 lawyers as Senior Advocates.
