The Chhattisgarh High Court on Thursday has issued an order by which the summer vacation holidays have been cancelled and now the court will regularly function during the said period of summer vacation.
The order read as, “In Partial modification of the calendar of the High Court and Subordinate Courts for the year 2020, the High Court has decided to dispense with the summer vacation from 18.05.2020 to 12.06.2020. Barring already declared holidays, rest of the days during this period shall be treated as working days.”
High Courts across country have cancelled their summer vacation holidays in order to make up for the loss of work caused by the outbreak of pandemic COVID-19 and the subsequent nationwide lockdown.
