The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer Justice Sujoy Paul of the Madhya Pradesh High Court judge to the Telangana High Court.
Justice Sujoy Paul himself requested for a transfer on the ground that his son practices before the Madhya Pradesh the High Court.
The resolutin by the Collegium reads that by a communication dated 12 February 2024, Mr Justice Sujoy Paul has sought a transfer on the ground that his son is practicing in the High Court of Madhya Pradesh.
The Collegium accedes to the request and resolves to recommend that Mr Justice Sujoy Paul be transferred, in the interests of the better administration of justice, to the High Court for the State of Telangana.
