The Delhi High Court bench of Justices Hima Kohli and Subramonium Prasad told the Aam Aadmi Party Government in Delhi to keep its focus on testing and tracing to deal with the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the capital.
The Court passed the directions and suggestions while it was hearing the plea filed by Rakesh Malhotra seeking increase in the Covid-19 testing numbers in the capital and getting results faster.

The Court also said to reduce the time to declare the results of Covid tests from 48 hours to 24 hours. It also said that test results can directly be sent to the people via phone message by the labs and it can be put up on the website later.
