The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday moved an application seeking revocation of the status of one of the prime accused Rajiv Saxena as an approver in the AgustaWestland Chopper case.

ED which filed the case in the court of Special judge Aravind Kumar alleged that Saxena withheld important information and didn’t disclose complete information.

ED also alleged that Saxena also misled it.

The court will hear the matter on Oct 21.

It is pertinent to note that Saxena had turned approver in the multi-million ruppees corruption case after the court’s approval.

He was granted approval after the ED supported Saxena’s application. Subsequently, Saxena was also granted bail on medical grounds and receive treatment for blood cancer and other ailments.

The Delhi High Court had provided relief to Rajiv Saxena after observing that he had already been granted bail on medical grounds before he was made an approver. Rajiv Saxena was one of the accused named in the chargesheet filed by the ED in the matter of AgustaWestland Scam.
