A fire which broke out at Supreme Court complex was swiftly put off averting potential catastrophe.
As per the information available ,the reason attributed to fire was electrical short circuit between court 11 and court 12.
The witnesses claimed that suddenly the smoke engulfed the space and it started to grow.
It was however put to control by the quick actions taken by the security staff who did not waste a single second and used the extinguisher to control it.
For the general safety and security of everyone,the judicial proceedings at court no 11 were suspended temporarily.
Even after the fire was extinguished,the smoke continued to fill the room making it mandatory to run ventilation checks
The administration of the Apex Court informed that no injuries were reported.
As per the information available an investigation shall be conducted to find the reason for the fire and to re evaluate the safety measures.
