The Allahabad High Court has taken seriously the petition filed against the employees of Hotel Allahabad Regency located at Civil Lines Prayagraj for intimidating and terrorizing citizens living nearby.
A single-judge bench of Justice Ajay Bhanot passed this order while hearing a petition filed by Achint Ranjan Singh and Another.
It is contended that the staff and bouncers working of Hotel Allahabad Regency, Civil Lines, Prayagraj, have let loose a reign of terror upon residents of the neighbourhood. The petition has demanded that the local people be provided security from the hotel staff.
The Court directed that, the Manager of Hotel Allahabad Regency, Civil Lines, Prayagraj, shall remain present in person on August 26, 2021 in Court.
The Station Officer, Police Station-Civil Lines, Prayagraj, shall inform the Manager, Hotel Allahabad Regency, Civil Lines, Prayagraj, regarding this order.

“The Senior Superintendent of Police, Prayagraj, shall also take immediate measures to ensure full safety of life, liberties and honour of the residents of the neighbouring colonies. Standing Counsel shall obtain instructions forthwith from the Senior Superintendent of Police, Prayagraj, regarding the protection to the residents of the neighbouring colonies,” the Court said.
The Court has fixed the next hearing of the petition for August 26.
