The Delhi court has also granted granted more time to the current Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav for his reply to the CBI plea seeking his bail cancellation.

After the CBI did the case, a money laundering case was registered by Enforcement Directorate against Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi(his wife) and son Tejaswi Yadav (Deputy CM of Bihar)

As per the FIR with CBI, Lalu Yadav, the then railway minister, had enter into criminal conspiracy with the owner of Sujata Hotels, Sarla Gupta, wife of his close associate Prem Chand Gupta, a Rashtriya Janata Dal MP in Rajya Sabha, and IRCTC officials for the undue pecuniary advantage to himself and others.
