A writ petition has been filed in the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court against an order not allowing an amendment in the online form of 69,000 assistant teacher recruitment and canceling the selection.
The petitioners, Sandhya Sonkar and others, filed the writ petition through Advocate Deepak Singh. Advocate Singh said while filling the online form, the candidates of B.Ed. and BTC filled the marks by considering (T) as a total in the score and integer. Whereas “T” meant Theory by Department. But nowhere in the recruitment mandate was “T” interpreted as Theory.
The advocate submitted that on March 5, 2021, the Education Department issued a mandate and gave an opportunity to rectify many errors. Not only this, the candidates who were out of the state merit list were also ordered to be included in the merit by reforming the error.

However, the candidate who made the above mistake was not given the chance of third improvement, while all the candidates fall in the District and state merit list and on this basis, the selection of some selected candidates was also canceled. Based on these facts, the candidates have filed a Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition will be heard on April 5.
