Taking in view the rising number of Covid-19 cases, Chief Justice of India (CJI) N.V. Ramana on Thursday urged all those present in the courtroom to wear masks.
While holding the court, the CJI said that most of his colleagues and staff were getting infected by Novel Coronavirus.
The national capital has witnessed an upsurge in the cases of Covid-19 in the past few days. According to the Government of India, Delhi has so far registered 1975540 Novel Coronavirus cases, out of which, 1940984 patients have recovered, while 26351 succumbed to the infection.
