The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed a PIL seeking direction to the high courts for alteration of rules so as to make sure that advocates having 10 years of experience can apply for senior advocates designation.
Ashwini Upadhyay, a BJP leader and lawyer had filed the PIL complaining of flaws in the regulations devised by various high courts for the designation of advocates as senior advocates.
