The Supreme Court on Friday fixed June 10 for hearing the petitions filed by medical students seeking modification of Court’s previous decree that had prohibited students from altering their initial alternatives while directing Maharashtra government to conduct fresh counseling this year.
The court on June 4 had directed the Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell to perform one round of counselling by physical verification of the PG medical and dental students in Maharashtra this year.
The court directions had come on the plea seeking directions to the Maharashtra government not to implement 10 per cent EWS quota in the PG medical admissions this year in the state.
